She is a real cutey and love the selective colouring, which works very well with the closer crop as it doesnt get lost within the image as a whole - does that make sense? Hope so!

The selective colour doesnt work for me, - much better without it.

Same comment as the last shot, - eye is not sharp, but front of jacket is, - mod is a little brighter, and the eye is sharpened. Again, - cant beat cute.

Lovely shot - really like the composition and the B&W tones, unsure about the selective colour on the eye, one minute I am looking and thinking yes I like it then I think hmmm maybe better in B&W to match the rest, think its a personal thing.

Edit - just looked at the mod and yep I do prefer the non coloured eye

I like thie shot - it stands out on the thumb nail ,but for me the colour popping doesn't work here. Also the eye is a tad too central - but now I'm getting really picky Wink

My advice is don't even try to please anyone but yourself with your photography, technical advice is always useful, and other peoples opinions are valuable but ultimately you have to like your own pictures otherwise what's the point? Smile
For what it's worth I love the crop but prefer Willie's Mod...

I agree with Blackbird. Don't be worried when shots seem to be missed in the gallery - especially when they are not your architypical landscape! Its a fickle place at times (see my shot from yesterday for example when compared to the shot from the day before). This image has a lot to commend it - and to be honest if it hadn't had loads of promise I may not have commented initially.

Keep your chin up and have faith in your own abilities.
