Not thought of one yet

By ryuneo
This image is being created for a competition and is still a work in progress. I would love to get some feedback from you guys on how you think it could be added to? I need to add more bodies to the termite mounds and more lightning effects. The original source of inspiration for this was a documenry on pompae

How about some nice red lava in the foreground, maybe trickling out of the uncracked mound?

Maybe some of the fantastic colouring in the sky could be brought into the image....there is a path in the background that looks like it is part of a creek bed or something like that, maybe the colour could be drawn from the sky into this gully and spreading in the explosion in the foreground...intensifying as it reaches the termite mound in the front. I would probably darken the ground on the sides adding mood and bringing the eye into the explosion of colour at the foreground.
Would love to see your end product....good luck!!

Ryan's back! Hi Ryan, good to see you posting something again!

This looks great already, but I agree it could do with more additions. More bodies would indeed be good, but I also agree with the suggestions above to introduce more colour - the lava idea sounds good.

Curious to see the end result!

I agree, Fantasic image, being into digital manipulation myself, I think that the shapes that you have used within the bodies is a great idea, Can't wait to see the finished image.

To be honest I think that some of the landscape behind needs some addition to draw the eyes into the background, maybe some more rocks gradually fading away into the distance, Keep it up!

Hi Ryan! Great to see some work from you - missed you here!
I think that I would like to see another body in the rock at the left. Another idea: is a rock growing out of the ground, with a hand or other bodypart coming upwards as well.
Colourwise, I would suggest some colouring from the sky 'reflected' or 'glowing' from the landscape - just faintly. So that the colour is more integrated in the whole image. Hope to see more of you here on EPZ!
