It's stopped raining

By Sabreur
The title refers to the Saturday bus trip on the recent meet - it had been raining all morning, so we headed for the Clachaig Inn where the staff were persuaded to open early to sell us hot drinks.

After a while, the rain stopped and many of us headed out to the river nearby.

Originally taken at 0.5s f14 with a 2-stop ND grad, this is a composite of two different images processed from the same raw file to avoid burning out details or putting too much grad on the mountains.

Combination of the two files has worked well, by the looks of it, Robert!

Great shot - see some small waterfalls in the background as well. Really capured the feel of roughness (or is it ruggedness?) there!

The foreground grass is so sharp I can almost reach out to touch it in the large version. Like the atmosphere to this and overall well composed.
