People that I meet on ePz meets ask where my username comes from. It means someone who fences with a sabre - there are three disciplines in the olympic sport of fencing (foil, epee and sabre).

This image was from a recent demonstration at Nottingham castle. Light levels in the room were low, so I tried some slow shutter speed stuff as well, trying to capture the movement.

i like the movement, would have preferred to see more of the fencers to understand whats happening, nice pic tho, cheers martyn

Martyn - the shot was deliberately tightly framed to focus on the hand and arm. The image I uploaded today is a wider view, so perhaps you could look at that and compare the two.
