Mossy Bridge

By salja03
I took this shot while on a walk at a nearby lake. i have several of this dilapidated bridge, but I think this has the best composition. Couple of bits of rubbish edited out, otherwise untouched. 18mm 13sec @ f16 and the light was fading fast!

I like this, James, but it seemed a bit flat, so I did you a mod, hope you don't mind. Nice angle to the bridge and you've "frozen" the water nicely with your 13 sec exposure.
I wonder if this would look better from another angle, perhaps with some more of the water in the image. Just an idea.

Thanks again Pamela - much appreciated. i am emulating what you have done just now to see if I can do it myself as well! Most gratefull for your input!

Ok, so I have added my version of the mod now - but it is darker than Pamela's. I would be keen to hear whether people feel Pamela's lighter version is nicer to look at than the one modified. I'm having some trouble working out what 'looks' better in these circumstances, and would welcome some advice. i like both of them, and find I can't make my mind up.
