Flying the Flag

By salopian
I have left quite a lot of space around this 1910 Avro Triplane to try to emphasise how fragile and small it seemed compared with some of the more modern aircraft at the show.
(The fact that there is limited zoom on the Fuji X10 may also have something to do with it!)

It says a lot for that camera when, even at this size, it's certainly sharp enough and there's plenty of detail, if you look hard enough!
I cropped this to increase the size of the aircraft and it's still acceptable at about half as big again. I imagine that you'd be able to get a reasonable crop from (a copy of) your original quite easily.

Very nice detail, and good exposure. I would suggest lowering it in the frame, and giving it more space in front as in the mod. Ive also brightened the plane a little, and darkened the sky.

Good picture. Interesting to see an image from a Fine Pix X10

Thanks for the comments and advice - I think Willie's mod is just what it needed - how do you darken the sky and lighten the plane though?
