Nothing to Declare

By saltireblue
Now I thought taking the green "Nothing to Declare" escalator would lead up to a peaceful place, and taking the red "Stuff to Declare" would lead down to you-know-where.
In Oslo it is the other way round. The green escalator takes you down into the depths of hell (which is also the name of a small town further north in Norway..) whilst the red escalator helps you escape from the misery below....aka the Oslo underground system.Wink

This is the escalator connecting the Eastbound and Westbound platforms at the station in my two previous uploads. I am milking this for all it is worth instead of uploading them as a setWinkWink

3 images combined in Oloneo.

Many thanks for all the interest and comments on my recent uploads, that warm feeling is still there.Smile

Thanks as always for bothering.

Malc

Edit: Many thanks to Willie (Banehawi) for his UA. Very much appreciated.
Edit V2: Many thanks also go to Suehh for her UA I thank you kind lady.Smile

Well worth uploading these separately. This is disorientating, vertiginous, not a nice ride.

Good composition and wonderful bright colour Malc. Strange about taking a coloured escalator depending on whether you are going up or down...

I suppose also that red is for danger.although some of us `child-like adults always fancy trying to run down the up escalator..but at my age that might have dire consequences WinkGrinGrin

This is a super shot. Strange about the colours, but each to their own. A bit puzzling to us that do things the correct way though. GrinWink

You have a way with four-square, head-on compositions that makes them look anything but four-square and head-on, Malc. The mix of tones is mesmerising, the perspective (after your opening comments) petrifying.
I do feel sorry for the tiny lost souls at the foot of the escalator!

Like your intro to the shot up top, Malc: quite a difficult subject to tackle I would have thought, and getting it free of travellers must have been quite a feat in itself.
Like the symmetry too, the detail is excellent and the colours quite eye opening.

No Malc all worth posting separately. I don't get this idea of posting versions 1,2 etc then saying people preferred V2 then posting it again by itself and asking for more votes on it. How will that ever make anyone a better photographer?
