The Book

By saltireblue
From York Minster.
I am embarrassed to inform you that I have no idea what the book is as i forgot to read the information card underneath it.Blush It is too thin to be the Bible.
Suffice to say, I was more concentrated on getting this image.
The green perspex stand was obviously tailor-made for this book as it was not symmetrical, one side was slightly longer than the other.

Many thanks for all recent comments.

Thanks for bothering.

I'll just need to catch the East Coast line down to York now to satisfy my curiosity about the identity of the bookWinkWink.
See all the bother you put me too.
And a fine image it is, the lighting awkward but so well handled.

A fine and unusual study of the light, Malc.
How did I miss this? Was it at this moment that I mislaid my spectacles by placing them in the wrong pocket? Will I ever learn?
And I have arrived too late to add an original comments Blush

Gorgeous capture, sweet colours, great clarity on the focused part that makes a lovely contrast.
