Where did I leave the umbrella?

By saltireblue
Looked out the window today and saw this coming towards us up the valley from the fjord in the distance.
Cancelled the planned walk around the neighbourhood to try and capture some autumn colours, and read a book instead.

Thanks for botheringSmile

Looks rather ominous! Looks like you made a wise decision, but a great capture here, though, Malc Wink

A great capture - definitely a good reason to stay indoors. I really love the light in this.

I wish I had this expansive view when I looked out of my window Malc.
I would be able to see these univited guests approaching and pretend I was not in !!
Super shot.

I am really far too good at staying indoors if there is but the slightest hint of raindrops on the windows, but this one looks rather more serious and would fully justify a long stretch on the sofa.
Magnificent capture of the light, and what a wonderfully expressive cloud!

Does not look like good weather to walk in. Better to take the pic from the safety of the house and then read a good book.............Sandy

Fabulous storm front, a few of these rolled across Skye last week too, time to read sounds right to me. We decided to stand and take it with the hope of a rainbow later.

Super light here Malc. Love this and how lucky to be able to take it from the confines of your home! What a view!

Wow! That is one menacing looking cloud! It would have kept me on the sofa all day, no sweat - I've got several books waiting to be read...
Well photographed Malc, it looks almost apocalyptic!
