Why parents have shoulders

By saltireblue
Hello all.
Haven't been around much the past fortnight or so. Despite the voluntary 4 day work week, this is the busiest time of the year and I have come home from week feeling mentally knackered.

Anyway...I don't usually upload multi images, but these just have to be uploaded together.

Parents are very useful when the last match of the season is sold out and you have to watch it on the giant screen in the town square. Especially exciting as a win means they win the league on the very last day of the season. Draw or lose and the rivals take the title. Fortunately for these young fans and their elders, it all ended happily.

I think the young lad in V1 is a young William Hague...

Even though we are still writing November, both my Xmas presents and those of mrs. salty are already decided upon and acquired. Xmas has really gotten off to an early start...our first Xmas card arrived in our postbox on the 8th November...

Off to do some commenting.

Thanks for bothering.

How delightful! Not that I understood all the sporting talk (I never did) but the character of all the participants stands out from every frame. Lovely clean b&w tones ("mono tones" sounds -well, monotonous Blush) make for a very special set.

Great collection of shoulder fans here Malc.

Excellent series with some wonderful expressions - V3 is my favourite.

Know what you mean about the early onset of Christmas, it is a relentless assault by the shops and advertisers. Still ours is sorted. We are getting each other half a fibreglass dormer roof each!

You've captured sheer joy here. Wonderful black and white tonalities in this one as well.
