Time to chat

By saltireblue
As a contrast to a recent upload - No time to stop and chat - I thought I would balance the hustle and bustle of that scene with one where the 'cast' appear to have all the time in the world, and have plenty of personal space around them, as opposed to the cast in the previous image.

A b&w offering with the colour version as v2.

Oh, and before anyone mentions horizons, it does not need straightening. Both the pavement and bench the cast are sitting on are level.....the building is skew whiff!Grin

And, yes, I know....what happened to the top of the it a senior moment.....

Thanks muchly for bothering, I does appreciate it. (Said in a Wurzle Gummage voice)

I must be having a senior moment too Malc.
Usually I prefer colour, but in this case it is the mono I prefer !!
It lends itself better to all the different tones I reckon.
Good work.

Sone nice textures and lines abound in this pleasant place to enjoy the sun; details of the cobbles in particular show up better in the mono. The location reminds me of the old fishermen's quarter of Schleswig, a favourite place......

The detail comes alive in V1 - the windows, the little balcony at the top, the roof tiles. Superb conversion.

I love the mono. Love all the little imperfections. It's really a great and very enjoyable image. I have this need to look into each little window to see what's there. Awesome!........Sandy

Great candid, Malc - think it has to be mono version for me, the tones & textures come up really well.

Great building and the people on the bench complete the picture. You're right about the top of the building, of course, but then we all have senior moments Smile And you should think yourself lucky if that's all you have to suffer. I have blonde moments too - not a good combination Smile

Having trouble choosing between the versions, but I think the mono wins by a whisker.

Looks very good to me - the B/W version especially brings out all the little details and textures.

Love v1 best, Malc, as the black and white makes the details crisper. Very striking.

Very nice images I like both Images the moss and detail on the roof of the colour version and the Mono looks great, well captured.
