Thanks everyone. And I take what Dean mentioned about the bg. It was difficult though because the shoot was done in the childs house and you just can't move windows & doors Smile Thanks for the constructive criticism. This is how we learn to be better photographers.

Really cure child, with a great expression! For me the problem with the background isn't so much the clutter - this gives a natural feel to the shot - but the two highlights that draw the eye. Also, I can see most, but not all of the child, The framing and composition makes me miss their feet.

The real image here is the childs smile, and I'd do a fairly major crop of her head and shoulders to produce another image.

Absoultely beautiful,love the B&W, I would perhaps crop her at the waist as you have only one leg in, her smile draws the eye.... excellent Sarah. *Click*
