nice focus on the cat itself, unusaul composition to most ive seen, maybe the without the white of the bg would fetch more attention, G

Hi Sarah, nice capture of the meercat quite a quirky pose. The image would benefit from painting or cloning out the white area at the rear and maybe a crop under the first rock and a slight sharpen. Nice one all the same

It's a great pose. I agree very much with Colin about masking the white area and cropping the foreground rock. Both would give more emphasis to the animal.

The white Backgorund isn't an issue for me, the meerkats face and pose follows the line of the background and so, here, this works as it reinforces a strong diagonal. I like the pose and the humor that it imparts. However, i'd look at cropping off some of the bottom of the image, so you only have one level of rock.
