  • In Flight by kwaterworth

The blurry effect of the flapping wings, the way its moving 'inwards' and the colours on the duck, all combine to make a stunning shot.

  • After The Rain by sasam

Thanks Nick. It's always my intention to get my picture sharp in every corner but concentrating on the drops I was oblivious of the RHS being soft (off focus).

Lovely colours and there is a sense of movement in the clouds, not the willows though.Isn't it too dark on the left and right edges.

    Thank you all.
Hi Mary. I'm using Fuji Finepix S5000. I took these pictures of dragonflies just around my place of residence. A small vilage in Terengganu, Malaysia. A trully tropical country, and it is really hot now. These small insects really enjoy the scorching sun, and of course they are different from those abound in your part of the world.

  • Lone Rock by daviewat

The lone rock and the ripples, well combined to make simple strong coloured image. Something easily missed by unobserving eyes.

I've seen your portfolio. Stunning images you have there, all of them. I particularly like "Balmaha Sunrise" and "Sunrise Over Oak".

    Congratulations Davie.
    Sasam.
