Juvenile Kingfisher

Kingfishers are my favourite British bird and I hadn't seen any since childhood. After a tip off late last Spring I rose at 4am.... There is something about kingfishers that send tingles down my spine when I see that magical blue flash before my eyes. I was on a high for ages after capturing this shot.

Well done, excellent capture, such beautiful little birds.
I have spent many hours attempting to find and photograph them, (apart from a couple poor shots) again well done.
