Hello, Soldatenko. I think the wind-blown sunflower and the deep blue sky background are wonderful, and you also have such excellent detail. However, I feel the positioning of the sunflower could be altered. I see it as a human face, and it is "looking" towards the right, and I therefore feel the blank sky area should be in front of it, not behind. I have done a modification where I did this reversal of composition and I also cloned in the end of the right-hand leaf that was cut off.

One thing that nobody has commented on is how sharp you have caught the flower especially as it is blowing in the wind. The depth of field is well handled and the shot is nicely exposed. Blurring the clouds in the background works well also.

I feel different to Pamela in the fact that I think that the flower needs to have somewhere to be blown into and as the petals appear to be blowing to the left, I think that the positioning is good.

My main issue is that while the blue sky is nice I think a dark stormy sky with a nice yellow sunflower would have worked better to give the shot some mood and atmosphere.

A great effort though, well done.

Cool! This is a beautiful, beautiful image! I love the composition, and the incredible depth of colour and detail in the flower head. To me it really captures a dynamic moment with great beauty. It's about the flower, there, but also about the whole universe, in a sense, as the sky just goes on and on! Would have voted if I could have, as I'm sure many others would too!!
