....gone in 3 seconds.
Dandelions evolved about thirty million years ago in Eurasia.
Must press on, I have an exam in an hour, a little bit of light relief today.
smashing one !!
I do like V2 as you can see the lovely expression on the little girls face, to me it is timeless, lovely image.
very nicely shot
V2 is very delicate and subtly composed but too much light and shadow in v1 IMHO and the dandelion is overexposed with blown highlights. I can see what you wer trying to achieve but it hasn't quite worked in v1. Still gets a click for v2 and these are just MY opinions.
Both just fantastic I can't decide which I prefer. I will have to think about hiring that model again !!!
Preferable to lying on my tummy in my neighbours garden trying to catch the light on those beautiful seed heads.
its great,v2 for me
These are lovely, Andrew. Gorgeous light in V1, very dramatic. And what a pretty little model!
2 different models were used.
Superb lighting.2 fab shts.I go for No.1
Superb images, Andrew, like them both. Carol

Andrew, for me, without a doubt your finest image to date. An absolute winner. You need to print this baby! I think I know some folks that would love it as a gift
Two great images Andrew but V2 is outstanding
2 outatanding images, well done!
Glad to be No30 well deserved

V1 for me, but both good in there own way
Two real cracking shots.
stunning love both well done
Great rim lighting. Well done!
One that I missed and the sort of image I'd love to take!

Paul might be right here, but who cares about those blown highlights - it is a marvellous picture, very artistic and your little model sure loves it. I like how the light makes her hair and profile shine,
Second is also very beautiful.
No 1 for me, superb photo, love it.
#1 for me too. Great light.
"but who cares about those blown highlights"
2 good shots, prefer #2. However, Robin 1 has made good constructive criticism here, and this IS a photographic site after all, where we are supposed to offer help and good advice, and also improve on our photographic skills.
I can see why you won all the kudos, these are great!
