I have a few niggles which I won't bore you with ....... I really do envy your imagination though.

I had an imagination by-pass about a month ago and have yet to recover .............

Well, I don't like that black pawn that looks out of frame on the left hand side, though that may well be a limitation of the laptop I'm viewing on. That said I much prefer the way you've treated the pawn on the other edge, chopping him in half but keeping him more convincingly in frame.

And the cut-out of the girl's hair is a bit obvious looking, sorted of the pasted on look. But the more I look the more I think it works OK with this style of pic.

The chess-pieces and the trees beyond are great and I really do like the black knight .... very sinister looking.
