I really like the pose and the eye contact. I would burn a little bit the tip of his nose where highlights are visible and distracting. A very fine image imo.

First sorry I was clicking and running yesterday - busy day. Both yesterday's and today's - strong, spontaneous, imperfect but involving. The nose tip is a distraction. If you can't salvage anything from the original file you could try using the brush tool with a suitable grey taken from the face, at a low opacity percentage. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it just looks awful, but it does no harm to try.

He looks a rugged guy. As to the tip of his nose....tell him to lay off the whiskey LOL Seriously I'll try to show you as Barry has shown me.

Ask him to wear a red nose from red nose day then no one would notice. your mother is the expert... she will show you how. Apart from that it is a copelling portrait with a nice effect.. more fitting to a man rather than a lady.
