I am sorry, new here.....so I haven't a clue as to what you are refering.....however, I did happen across your work earlier and I think I commented on it...
So...for what it is worth....I think you are amazingly talented and possess an incredible vision...I enjoyed looking at your gallery and found your submissions very inspiring...
This one....is simply beautiful...such a simple concept!!! She is lovely indeed....and you have done a great job....love, love, love the music...playing it for the third time now and then I shall load it into my Ipod...
So this has been a great day for me....new inspiration, a great new tune...gentle and easy and hopefully a new friend...okay...stepping down off me soap box now...sorry...
Oh...one last thing.."and search a soul...." PERFECT! Wink

Thanks , thats encouraging !

I just used off cam flash sat on the dashboard to shine Vicky from the front , and I sat in the back seat focussed on the mirror.

I think the apparent effects were luck and a dusty mirror. Just exposure really Smile

Thanks Vicky , loads on the card to follow....

This is still unusual but oh so very good. I get this totally, where sometimes I found myself scratching my head. Really liking what I seen but a bit confused. Maybe that is a good thing, made me really study them. ..........Sandy

Dave - this is a lovely image - what a beautiful chin and mouth! I don't know who she is but it is certainly an engaging image that leaves me wanting to know more - and I love the concept and composition.

But, I am disappointed! I cannot believe you would not show us your art because of what "some" - and only "some" say. You are far better than that! I don't care who sees this comment - it is what I feel. If your art was not on site, the site would be losing something so special. To be able to create the art you do, you demonstrate your good photography skills by the bucket. One follows the other me old chuck!

Anyway, how many captures on site have had no fiddling with - if you see what I mean - or doesn't that count? You just make photographic captures into something special and unique and long may it last.

Sorry to go on, but feel a bit cross.

Go on, I need a few layers from you - getting withdrawal symptoms!

Have a good day and enjoy the match. Sue x

Don't understand the reference to art, but all I do know is that the images you show us on here are superbly imaginative and expertly processed. This is not your usual style but it says so much and is a quality image. Beautifully done.

Hi Dave...
We enjoy your works of manips and layers and textures .. that is rather obvious by the amount of traffic you get to your site and all the awards you get.. Your not going to please everyone so what that is life.. they can move on to the next photo in line..
However for those of us that look forward to your newest creations and lyrics we see no need in you changing. Your work makes us think and study the image.. If we don't get it as far as your understanding that is ok I would think .. we all draw off of Art / Photography/Music etc different.. but the fact is you bring emotions with your work and that alone shows your talent.
You know how to add layers to make your images come to live..
I for one find them a welcoming to my day...
I may miss a few days here and there and get behind but at the end of the day I look forward to seeing your newest creation..

Now for this image... it tells it's own story and very well done.. once again you managed to draw us in

Great image Dave, just shows how much talent you have when you don't need to use layers.
Get back to what you are happy with though, i've said before you need to forget what people say and who cares if the mass doesn't get you. Your mind is like no other on here, your work keeps me coming back to this site as it puts a huge smile on my face.

Come on Dave, dont let a few comments grind you down, most of us know your works are amazing and full of meaning, art does'nt always please everyone, simply because they dont understand it, artists are always mis-understood..get back in there mate.. Tell me who it is and Ill duff em up for you..Unless its a woman then I cant help you...

1. Don't you dare stop your photographic art works which are an inspiration to so many of us - so there!
2. This is terrific - it's something we often see when driving with a passenger, a partial face caught as we glance in the rear view mirror - you've captured the intimacy of that half-vision perfectly.

Well ..so you were upset then...now lets see..send me and ear..youe eyes would be good[your vision is better than mine..take a deep breath..
How you choose to express yourself is for you alone to decide..I allways[bar missing the odd few]enjoy your work..Has it anything to do with photography..to be frank usualy not,but I can look at it for what it is and comment..life is not for boxes and definitions.

As you know I refuse to use anything that I have not taken myself...its my call and no one elses...you make your choices.

Oh yes nice piccy.
