A Fairy's Bathtub...

By Scottishlandscapes
...in the cold waters of Allt coire a' Mhadaidh, with the Black Cuillin above. A very rewarding walk across Glen Brittle, on the Isle of Skye.

Bloody brave fairy with all that snow around!. Great image

Cheers Bill, I can feel the sharp boulder that was trying to cut me in half. A major task for anu boulder.

Gary, thanks you're very welcome any time.

Glen Brittle I can pronounce ..the rest of it might as well be Gaelic but what the heck I'm just meant t be talking about the image. A cracker Dougie and you can always find that interesting bit of foreground interest to pull far and near together.
I had an interesting bit play the other evening. he whole length of the wall is to be lit with lanterns 250 meters apart for the full length. I heard they were doing a dummy run on our stretch so though I might as well have some of that. The pics will appear one day.
Sounds like a very interesting image Danny, I can imagine how many images you can conjure up from that. You'll start a stampede my friend.

Another belter Dougie. I tried to teach myself Gaelic once, just to work out the meaning of the hill names. Was slightly disappointed to find that most of the names mean stuff like, "The Big Brown Hill", "The Big Blue Hill", "The Big Pointy Hill" etc!

Great Composition, great light and love the colours.

Not sure what the stacking thing is but love the image!
It's like doing a paorama but not across the way. Up and Down, you can do it vertically, I just like the stack.

I like the title Dougie, did you see any fairies bathing in there?
Impressive stacking too!
Maybe it was your reflection Marie?

You should see the image Claire has from here, tremendous, it'll be a while before she processes, busy at work. I'll give you a shout.

Sorry about the curtailed meeting Marie. I will buy you Lunch the nexy visit to Skye.

Just what I was thinking. It's a wonderfully clean, clear, bright image but I think this fairy will stick to her electric shower.
