...this huge white cloud sat for ages over the mountans while other clouds moved swiftly along. It seemed to be spinning like some giant childs top in the sky.

I agree and images like this, with a strip of water at the bottom and a big sky, are a perfect example of when it works really well.

Love the big sky in this one and that cloud sounds amazing. I'd love to have seen it spinning like a top Smile

The Cuillin range with a difference, Dougie. By making the sky and those wonderful cloud formations the more prominent subject of the composition, you have created a totally different image to the usual. Very nice and refreshing work which I love.
