Snow & Seaweed...

By Scottishlandscapes
...it seemed an incongruous mix, but in a week where we had all the seasons, sometimes in the same morning, it shouldn't be a surprise.

The seaweed peeps through with a strikingly warm tone. Unusual shot, a different way of seeing.
I'll buy Danny a coffee tomorrow to cheer him up.

4 seasons in one day? Sounds like a typical British holiday! Smile

Some really nice dabs of light in this Dougie - a lovely scene nicely captured.

That patchy light just lifts it where needed.

You're right, Dougie, it does seem odd, but it makes for a lovely and unusual image Smile

Wouldn't like to have been there in my dancing shoes, Dougie.
Even if I had any.
Lovely splashes of red in this predominantly cold scene, and the way the weed curves into the perspective is gentle but insistent.

Bill

Another superb composition. Love the way the light on the seaweed in the foreground annouces the starting point of the image then takes you in, great stuff.

Always a pleasure to see the fruits of your labour Dougie.

wonderfully captured Dougie, beautifully bleak but the hint of blue sky brings it to life
