Over the Horizon...

By Scottishlandscapes
...looking down The Clyde from Portencross, I had been after the Arran Ferry but arrived as it went into Brodick Bay, the yacht saved the day and looks totally different from what I had planned.

The big version is a must, the heat haze on the horizon is very evocative coupled with the lonely boat and birds.
Very different but also very good.

I like this Dougie, very arty! I think it would look better against a dark background, but that doesn't take anything away from the photo it's very good and I'd be very happy to have this on a wall.

He said: "Son, take a look at the horizon,
There's a world beyond I long for you to see
And should you sail one day across the ocean,
Remember son the day you had with me...
Life is a game, win or loose it's all the same
You live and you die, just don't let it pass you by
You have choices to make,
You have chances to take.
You will laugh you will sing and you will cry,
Spread your wings and you will fly...
But don't let a moment, not one special moment,
don't let a moment pass you by.
Pete Abbott - Windy Harbour

Great poetic moment and image Dougie,
