Very nice, Douglas. This is the second 'alternative' shot of the BEM I've seen in the last 24 hours. Looks good from this angle too.
I would guess the other was Trekpete's? It's a crackin image Colin.

Oustanding light and this is the first time i have seen that marvelous background.
Fantastic shot,, love the remote feel to it, the colours and light is brilliant and the wee lonsome cottage sets it off,, well done

Yes, it is good to see a new view of this place. I didn't even know what was to the left of the cottage from the angle! Nice light on the hillside.

This is just glorious. A spectacular wide open view that has at it's heart what looks like a lonely dwelling. A different and well found new view on the spot, I am sure it will inspire more to find it.
