Could be yesterday !!!!!!!!!!!!!! love the light and I am pondering if we will have an autumn this year due to the wet summer :-(

Today is not good at all here and the mifgies seem more violent than ever today :-((

Dave
well I've been watching the leaves begin to fall off the trees already in the City Dave, so fingers crossed that we get an Autumn, I'll be off North if there is.

Hi Dougie, Its beautiful, woodland scenes such as this are so hard to expose for and capture detail but this is very admirable and with very subtle shades and toning. Back-lit too which made it more difficult to capture but a very worthy result.
Survived Ullapool Smile and visited Inverpolly and its magnificence, crossed over again to the east and went up to Helmsdale to photograph ' The Clearances ' statue. All to follow at sometime Smile
Cheers Kin look forward to seeing the results, did you manage any higher altitude?

No Dougie all will be explained in the shots but I was too tired the first evening anyway after travelling, didn't get a descent nights sleep prior to the journey which isn't really that far about 3 hours but still felt a bit listless.

One that makes you long for the days to get shorter and when you can kick your feet through the leaves of the forest floor. Beautifully composed to catch the lines of the light and shadow that converge and draw you in.
I love the Autumn colours and the textures of Winter, the Summer just burns my wee Baldy Bit, and it's wall to wall green up here.
