Tranquil Morning...

By Scottishlandscapes
...on Loch Lubnaig, near Callander, Stirlingshire. A family canoe outing caused the ripples on the water, one of the canoe's can just be seen on the right of the Loch.

On the spot wherefrom you took this wonderful picture I stood many, many times and "inhaled" this image. Isn't this an awesome place? The always very tranquil loch and Ben More (?) at the back - heavenly.
You did it justice.

Great reflection and low clouds. Like the pastel-like colours.

Classical, misty and silvery light that portrays the hills and lochs of Scotland. Well contrasted by the changing colours of the seasom.

Crikey, where's all the interest in this shot gone?? Worthy of far more IMHO ... fabulous clarity as ever Doug, love the low cloud and diffused light ... would click twice if I could Wink

Once is fine my friend, it's Sunday and the shops or the weekend groaning board beckons.

Hi Dougie, this is really, really good. Agree with Paul, should get more interest but seems to be the way of things these days. You just dont know if a good photo will get the attention it deserves.
The composition is great and that little cloud adds that extra touch.
Class image.

You can see the autumn colours coming through in this Dougie, nice reflections, great scene.

A beautiful scene expertly composed.
The autumn colours are only just beggining to show, I am amazed how late it seems to be happening up here these last couple of years.

Used to picnic here when I lived in Falkirk. It's such a peaceful, tranquil spot. Lovely capture and reflections ... love the cloud coming down over the far hill.
