Back Mount Memory Monochrome...

By Scottishlandscapes
...Boxing Day 2004, shown before but a long time ago, I thought it deserved another day out in the light. The wee tree on the Lochan here was broken by the winds on the moor a few months ago, but who knows nature heals in time.

Monochrome this time.

Much mourned, oft seen but nary so delicate as here. Makes a perfect monochrome.

Brings back memories from this wonderful place in winter Dougie, Earlier this year I followed the snow plough for about 3miles, but was then forced to turn back due to a white-out, better luck this year,(I hope) Wonderful image nicely converted, Bill.

That wee tree will be sadly missed by so many, Dougie, it was quite a focal point in many an image, or at least a feature in the middle distance. Someone told me we might get snow next month.....if true you might be able to repeat this shot before not too long.

Perfect in b&w Dougie, and well worth a second viewing. Great shame about that iconic tree.....
