Who Watches the Watcher?...

By Scottishlandscapes
...taken on a cloudless day while photographing reflections, I felt a presence behind me, it was the camera left to wait while I played with my new toy.

Don't give in to bullying. Mind, someone could do you some serious damage with that.

Now, that's a bit different: fine image, Dougie.
Do you see the the X10 taking over more and more from the big guns? although this is a fine shot, I have my doubts that that might be so.

I think a more spiteful person than myself would say that the X10 is just as you describe it, Dougie - a toy. Well there is nothing toy-like with the equipment on view in front of what appears to be a perfectly ripple-free reflection.

It's a bit harsh Malc, x10 is a lot better than a toy, and the Canon weighs a ton, so they don't compare like for like.

An interesting and a very good shot Dougie. There is something to be said for small and lightweight............Sandy

Nicely contemplative image Dougie and good work with the new camera. Good weapon in the camera and tripod for those out of the way places in Central Scotland.

Looks to produce great quality as a No 2 camera Dougie.

Well I'm grateful to the new toy for showing me your setup. A fellow L bracket user, I see. Don't see too many of them. Self leveling base - need to get me one of those, strap - took mine off as it felt a nuisance and I always use a tripod.
Fine image, Dougie and that's all that counts. I'm trying to decide whether it's fractionally softer than your big gun uploads though... Not sure and considering their pedigrees it should be!
