...look at this view with more work on the image. I think this is possibly nearer the colour on the day. I am learning how to handle these different files.

Great scene with a very natural look. They appear to have stitched flawlessly.

Great stitching technique Dougie.

Just find the mountain on the L/H/S cropped just a touch near to the edge of the frame for me, but this is only a very minor point, in a super quality image.

Yes indeed, Dougie; I think this is an improvement.
Thanks Jim I had to find a new plug-in for the Nikon and it's different of course from the Fuji.

I'll be watching your work with interest to see how you get on with the Nikon. I've been thinking about a D200 for a while, but I'm really interested in the recent announcement of another 10mp DSLR (a D80?).

I think the colours are closer to the Fuji S3 in this version. Sounds like a lot of effort to get there though?

Not really, I just needed the adobe plugin for NEF raw files and we were off.

Out of the camera files are pretty good. The meter is very good indeed. You could use this camera on auto. The programmed shutter and and auto focus are very good. I'm so used to everything manual I do it without thinking about it.

All the best Pete. I must have a look for the D80.

A nice pleasant image of this lovley location. I like the way the light is hitting the gable end of the cottage.

Cheers Dougie - not sure what the new Nikon will be called - will probably know over the next 2-3 weeks. It is strongly rumoured to be a D70 replacement, but we'll see.

All the best,
