Great shot Douggie and well worth the effort. the large version looks so real, can almost hear the water running.

I like the composition and the colour to this. The mountain and it's reflection really sets it off.

Great shot Dougie - hope the knees managed OK?

This format always seems to make the Buckle look much taller and even more grand (if thats possible).

Was this shot in RAW? There seems to be so much more clarity in the image, no harsh colours or pixelating. It looks grand, clear and pin sharp.

Superb work and keep it up.

A wonderful immage, great job.
Rich, the 12mm does tend to pull things out a little, it's raw,,,what else. I'd be unwise to change now that you put me on the course to raw everything. Looking on the net for even better quality.
See you I hope when you come back to Scotland.
All the best

Think I preferred the previous version, Dougie. Still a great view though.

Nice shot. Like the low angle and the wide view. Slow-ish shutter speed to blur the forground water works really well.

Another fine shot of the Buckle Dougie. Excellent sharpness and ideal shutter speed for the water.

Agree with you about shooting everyting in raw. It makes a difference.

Great shot. Good point of view. I can imagine how it looks like printed 40x60"

Beautifully taken, Douglas. The contrast between the movement in the foreground and the solid stillness of the Buckle is particularly striking.
