Black Cuillins...

By Scottishlandscapes
...The light was flitting about over the mountains and the farms below. Hail and rain were blowing across every few minutes, but it was a wonderful day on The Isle of Skye.

Great cloud formation enveloping the peaks Dougie. Lee grads work a treat for this type of shot. Nice subtle light on the mountainside. Must get back to Skye this year..

I hope those clouds stay there, I'm going to Skye on Saturday for a few days.

You just upload one great scene after another. To see these shots is the next best thing to being there in person.

Patrick I am mighty glad you enjoy my work, but can I say to you that no photograph can ever convey the feel of Skye, it's a very special place indeed. You have to be bitten alive by the midges or burned by the sun as the cold wind flays your face, or the soft smirr of rain washes your lenses and you cant see out of your specs, that's the Isle of Skye.

My thenks for your interest in what I live for Patrick,
