Elgol Pano...

...looking North at Loch Curuisk, the boats had returned after the threat of a large storm lashing the area. The Cuillins are dark against the evening sky.
The weather the next day was quite beautiful around the Isle of Skye.

Nicely taken shot of my local area! Agree with Davie after looking at your PF, but then again the S3 is a stunning camera, with an amazing chip in it.

Colours are always more vibrant in S3 shots

The Fuji does really have a larger tonal range than most cameras, the nikon has a larger pixel sensor, so more detail, personally I think the Fuji is better, take your time and let the camera work, set your mind to slow and the S3 is a peach, you only get 3 shots raw and it stops, the nikon keeps firing so you keep doing things insead of planning the shot properly.

All the very best mate, you always have something intelligent to say,
Dead right Allan and thanks my friend

Stunning in the large version Dougie...I know you love this place Smile
Kin I would have stayed longer to see what happened, but my dinner was ready at the Coruisk House, Leslie the lady in charge is not one to be late for table with. Dinner was superb, Both she and Robin run a grand place to eat down this wee road,

All the best my friend

Dougie...your photography seems to be getting overshadowed by food these days LOL....I think I'd rather be eating a jam sandwich and just taking in the view/atmosphere myself (a gastronomic Philistine here obviously!)

First class stuff again.

Gwyn (too late this year for a boat trip across Scavaig to Coruisk itself? Can't recall seeing anything from that wonderful location in your pf...something to keep in mind for next year perhaps?)
Well Gwyn had you seen the turbot that awaited me at the restaurant, even the iron stomached like your good self might have wandered off to the table. Jam sandwiches nah! not for me, I'd rather bite my own nails.

Cheers my friend
