...the sky opened and snow fell on the moor. It happened back in March when this was taken, but when I get up here I expect it will look pretty similar.

I suspect there'll not be a sprig of heather to be seen for snow at the moment - good luck if you're attempting the journey in the next few days.
Only really appreciable when viewed large - superb panorama,

I reckon it could be a day or so before you get up here again, Dougie. Delightful scene, beautiful to look at but not such fun always trying to get there.

Frozen in time, eternity lingers in wait beneath the sparkling surface. Cold creeping down the mountain slopes, grasping with its icy claws for everything and all... Life comes to a standstill... feel it... Breathe...
