Danny's Tree...

By Scottishlandscapes
...had a part in a Robin Hood movie a few years ago, although Hadrian's Wall is a long way from Sherwood Forrest.
'Danbran' took me to his favourite parts of the wall and we had a great walk and some wonderful banter.

Monochrome conversion from Colour Raw File.

But did you stump up for the photographic rights? Danny usually carries a ticket machine.
Good one, glad you enjoyed our bit of England.

nice shot i tried to get this 1 a few wks ago but as i crossed a bog with two labradors bounding around and loving it and me up to me ankles in mud i gave up when i came across the fence with no holes in it so turned around and walked back across the bog ! times like those i wished i had a nice big zoom lens in stead of my 18-55mm

anyway gr8 shot well done like the B/W

A strong silhouette against that sky - the cloud formation seems almost to emanate from the tree. I hope Danny didn't charge too much for the privilege Smile

Do not know why it reminds me a wee ditty i heard years ago.

Dave
As I walked up the street I thought I saw a coo it was a Bull be God.

This is the wall hanger not just for you, but one to hang on many a wall. Finely spotted and well worked in B&W. Simple and symbolic.

How much did you pay him for the licence??? Wink
Excellent composition, the black hills frame it nicely, showing the grandeur of the landscape well. The three is fabulously silhouetted against the sky, one can almost count the leaves! (IF LOOKED LARGE!)
Well done my friend,

A masterpiece that I would love to hang on my wall!

Full of symbolism, found in the female "V" that frames the Tree. The bold and magnificent sky just adds to the appeal of the work.

Best regards,

Bill
