My Little Deer...

By Scottishlandscapes
...it was suggested that this shot should stand alone, so here it is, a young stag with a liking for breakfast cereal bars and no great fear for cameras it seems.

This seems too good to be true but I know from experience that some stags do come into the garden and become quite tame. Smile They play havoc with the flowers though! Sad Wink

Great image well caught.

I'm so glad you uploaded this separately Dougie - it's such a wonderful portrait and so unusual to be able to get so close. Those eyes are boring into your camera lens!

Hi Dougie,

What's this, no rolling hills, moutain streams, foreground rocks or low moving clouds Wink don't alter now. Grin . A bit of diversity is always good and what a good shot you've captured here, I get the feeling Dougie that if this chap say's it's Wednesday then I'm not arguing, Wednesday is fine by me.

Good capture and an excellent pf

As long as he doesn't have an appetite for cameras... Thanks for giving this one its day of glory, it deserves it.

Love some of the comments above, Dougie.
I am a bit later today having been out in the cold at the Greenbank Harden.
For sure a close encounter in every way and a fabulous shot, filling the frame so perfectly and in bery fine detail.
