An Teallach...

By Scottishlandscapes
...taken from the hill to the North of Ullapool on the road to Inverpoly, just as the rising sun was kissing the peaks.

Another good long lens job Dougie. Often these peaks don't make good photos in their own right but this one works well, and with the light just coming up it makes an excellent shot.

A stunning light on that triangular face, Dougie; makes it look like a benign version of the Eiger!

Could I go to bed before having at least dopped in here to say hello? Definitely not.

A wonderful mountain image again, I like the special golden light here Dougie, softening a little this huge hump.

Sleep well my friend,

Impressive view of this great mountain. I hear it's an 'expedition' to make a winter ascent.
24 Jan 2008 11:26AM
It's a very large ridge and very exposed all year but in winter must be treacherous, but I'm no mountain man.
