This is effectively only three tones, light, mid and dark and it works very well. Lovely reflections and a beautiful shot.

Know this spot very well. Normally Stac Pollaidh is shrouded in mist and you were very lucky with the reflections that day.

Thanks for your comment on my upload today.
I have one big advantage over many new digital SLR owners - I have someone to explain how to use it. Phil is being very patient with me during the learning process Smile He claims it's the blind leading the blind, but I don't believe him!

you've got some cracking shapes in them there hills up there.

this ones ace, makes the dales look rather featureless in comparison...

creaqting a great documentary of the place, covering far more than the usual glen coe and rannock moor shots we see churned out.

I've passed this a few times and always thought it was so bare. However, I will need to put on my photographer's specs the next time I visit - this is exceptional.
