That looks great Dougie when I turn my monitor upside down but it looks greater still when I leave it as it is.

Like Danny, I have been getting a crick in the neck viewing this upside down. I like the hint of the bigger picture in the reflection, but also the fact that we have to work a bit (and get a stiff neck) to see it.
The reeds in the water are often the main interest for me in your landscapes, good to see them getting their own solo billing.

Good idea selecting this smaller part of the bigger picture, Dougie, concentrating on the reeds: not knowing the area I cannot work out what mountain is being reflected.
You need to do this again in the Trossachs to give me a chance.

Let us not forget the contribution made by the humble ripple. It and its myriad companions join with the light to evoke a deliciously gentle breeze. A lovely day indeed.

Love all the earthy colour and gentle movement in the top 2/3. As a whole it is beautiful too, you then concentrate on the reflection. A brilliant shot Dougie, love it.......Sandy

It's stunning Dougie and those reeds make the image for me.

There is something about the reflected image punctuated by the reeds that is very compelling Dougie.
