...reflected in Loch Clair where the reeds are looking extremely good this year.

It was nice to see the mountain with some cloud in the sky.

Mightily impressive. Superb composition, excellent colour and f/g detail and beautiful reflections.
There is the impression of a meeting of two worlds: that on the left, varied and verdant (at least at lower levels), that on the right offering only sparse vegetation and barren rocks.

Very impressive. A great composition with wonderful light and reflections, and just the right amount of foreground interest not to distract from the overall image.

The reeds are looking good and the light is creating lots of great contrast on the left side of the frame, you've kept the lower contrast bright area to a minimum on the right which really helps. There's a nice symmetry going on too.

strikingly beautiful. Why don't you get ripples on the water like the rest of us have to contend with.

The only thing wrong with it is that I'm not there walking. Grin

High pressure Danny, that's why the sky is so clear and blue and so few clouds.

Andy Many Thanks for the UA I've been out for a little while. Well pleased. GrinGrinGrin

A classic Torridon view of the mighty Liathach Dougie. I spent nights sleeping under its serrated brow, with just the deer for company. The last time I was here was about six years ago and change had even managed to force its way down this lonely glen.

What I love here is the foreground hint of life below the water surface - almost like those snorkelling pictures that show above and below the surface. Though this was probably a lot colder...
The surface merges imperceptibly into the weedy loch bed.

Delicate balance and clarity Dougie, making the most of Loch Clair. Last time we were here to climb Liathach you could not see base !!!

Wow Dougie, this is brilliant, in the real sense of the word. What a sharpness, what a brilliance - what a great landscape.
"Loch of the level place" - Loch Clair, I see now where from its name comes.
