A beautiful stormy sky Dougie enhanced by the long exposure. The snow on the mountain tops is a great focal point. I haven't been on Arran since 1969. One day I will go back.

The lovely colours belie what I'm sure was a chilly day! The square format really suits this image.

Yes, the format works perfectly, pitting the sky shapes against the rocks and not finding them wanting.
Magnificent scene, just keep the snow at that distance please!

A really wonderful location and a very well constructed landscape image, added to by the well judged exposure length giving just the right sense of movement in the sky and sea. Quintessential Scottish coastal feel, haven't been for years up the West Coast, nice reminder, must do so soon.

A really atmospheric shot Dougie. The foreground rocks give depth to the scene whilst the sky hints at the conditions. Superb.

The 10 stopper has given good results Dougie. Actually it's not the 10 stopper...it's the person who uses it.

Good use of the big 10, Dougie. The distance to the water means the milky effect is almost understated, and not right 'close up and in your face'.
