Assynt Morning...

By Scottishlandscapes
...way back in 2007 and never processed before. I often wish I had kept my Canon 5d original, it gave a beautiful rendition that has been lost in the new technology of newer models.
Loch Assynt earlyish one morning.

Ah, the unstoppable march of technology!
"Beautiful rendition" is most appropriate; the tonal gradation is lovely.

That's gorgeous Dougie. A lovely tranquil scene. You can almost hear the water gently lapping against the boats hull.

All that and a red buoy too. The cherry on the cake, so to speak.

Good shot Dougie.
I still use my Minolta 5D from the 90's.
It has that ''true'' colour and not the saturated colours you get nowadays.
Only 6 megapixels too and to be honest,I don't understand this obsession with cameras having to be a zillion megapixels nowadays.Unless off course you to want to make a print the size of your house !!

Such a beautifully tranquil scene, Dougie.
The trees have shed their leaves to allow us a glimpse of the mountains beyond.

A peaceful, still, tranquil scene, Dougie. It's never the camera but the person behind it that matters.

A beautiful north west Highland scene, so peaceful and tranquil and where I could happily while away a few hours on the water.
