Buachaille waterfall in spate

By Scottishlandscapes
The little waterfall so loved by us under the gaze of The Buachaille looks a bit different than usual here, a raging torrent...saw the most unusual sight here the other day , a baby in a pram with Dad of course a photographer.

just a shame that the rain can still be seen spattered on the lens.
Hi Keith
I left it there as I felt it was a part of the whole. I had been trying to keep the lens clean and soaked 3 cloths in the process, I hope it doesn't offend and spoil your enjoyment.

Nice shot. I think the rain drops on the lens add to the story.

wow, amazing shot, looks almost unreal
It was real the whole Glen was awash every little burn that normally you wouldn't be able to see was there like a river. Look at the Mountain there are several new water routes down the side. At the waterfall you could not believe the noise.

Believe it or not, I think that the water on the lens adds to the atmosphere! Well done!

I rember these conditions Dougie...moisture everywhere but good on you for pulling out so much detail...the multi colours of the sky feature well and the lower slope bracken colours are fine and distinct as is the peaty trace in the raging water. Great work.
Doug.
PS. the snow was blowing of Buchaille today and yet the light was catching it so I must see how I fared, hopefully I will see you around tomorrow.

Great shot Douglas, I think though, it's tilting slightly to the right.
Merry Christmas.
John.
Maybe that's why all the water's running down, sorry John you are right of course it just looked right at the time.
