Callanish Stones...

By Scottishlandscapes
...the morning light was shining on the stones as we arrived, but not for long, just a few minutes of golden light and back to dark sky's again. But long enough.

hi Dougie I may have a jaunt later but I'm easy one way or the other as its a long way to the snow. I'll have to think about going soon if at all and the light aint that good at the moment but as we all know that can change in an instant.

Always glad to see you grabbing the defining moment with the light - it's changing by the minute even in this relatively southern zone! I have a vague preference for #1 but would happily display either!
Regards
Bill
You just can't go wrong with either one of these,
Dougie, as they are both beautiful shots, that being said, I prefer 2.

The large version has to be viewed to be appreciated. Beautifully captured light, Dougie, however brief.
