Dun Caan...

By Scottishlandscapes
...down in the V between the mountains, the clouds were racing across the mountains and I just caught this before it cleared the top of Beinn na Cro, while Glas Bheinn Mhor stands to the left, taken from the side of Blabheinn on Skye.

Nicely composed and love that wee bit of light on the summit. Moira

Extraordinary composition. I like the off-centre placement, and that touch of light on the right-hand peak.

Another fine use of the natural light/shadow contrast. The distant peak, though tiny in the frame, looks simply stunning. An image that demands more than the standard three seconds' viewing.

I find this one extremely sensual Dougie. It reminds me of someone on here but I cannot remember who or why.

I wonder how long you waited for this magical light to appear on both hills? and you can still see the detail on the hillsides. Brilliant.

A vert dramatic composition and presentation, Dougie: very eye catching even as a thumbnail.

An adventurous composition Dougie. It works because of the way the light is catching the tops of the two hills.

Light and shadow for another strong image Dougie. Nestling the distant mountain in the valley is genious.

I think this is what we call "being in the spotlight" - fantastic composition.
