Elgol pano

By Scottishlandscapes
A stitch of two shots. A glorious sunny day and of course no clouds to speak of. The weather on Skye forces you always to want to go back.

This shot is excellent, however for me the rock would have worked better if it wasnt so central. Thats only a personal preference though and the shot is still very good and stitched very well.
I also like the cloud over the mountain.

All the best

I have to agree with Paul. A lovely, well taken panoramic, but the rock being so central is a bit too overwhelming.
*click* nonetheless

Wonderful shot of the Cullin Dougie. I'll be heading up that way in October for a few days.

Really beautiful shot - the triangle formed by the rock and both sets of white clouds really make his a great composition for me.

A great example of not always needing to have things on the "thirds".

Well done.

Thanks to all for the comments.

Absolute stunner mate. You have to have the luck with you weatherwise when you travel to places like this. I was not so fortunate.

Nice work Doug.
Not too sure about the rock being so central though, tends to dominate and split the image.

LOL my experience of the Cuillin has always been cloud, cloud and more cloud. It's on hell of a mountain range though, and you have captured it beautifully in benign mood.
