Erosion of time...

By Scottishlandscapes drive yesterday took me eventually to Glen Orchy off the A82 and the falls had good water but not a lot of light. I found detail intriguing in the drier rocks overlooking the falls. The work of millions of years of water thundering down and carving the stone.

An incomprehensible time scale that lends a certain perspective to ones concerns.
Ended up providing you with a good photo though!

As old as the hills . . .
Excellent study, Dougie, might just make an excellent monochrome too.

If you can see the ''eye'' at the top left corner here Dougie,
it could be an elephant !!
Interesting shot.

If only rocks could speak, but of course to geologists they do: yes, it was dull all day yesterday here too but it suited some images of the daffodils I took in PCP.
These rocks make interesting subjects in their own's just a matter of 'seeing' them in the first place and realising the potential.
