If Only...

By Scottishlandscapes
...this were true, but it ain't, the sun never shone on the mountain and the fg at the same time, so I moved the mountain (quite a trick) an action I had been reading about in a magazine. I like it but I'll always know it didn't really happen, now you do too.

'tis a nifty piece of work nonetheless Dougie! The joy of manipulation which is a pleasure to view!

It's the end result that matters and you've achieved your aims beautifully Dougie.

Very nicely done, Dougie!

You realise it's down a slippery slope now, though! Wink

Cheers

No way Bill, I like to see my images as I saw them on the day, that's why I never have huge ratings, or one of the reasons at least.

If you have to move mountains for a result like this it's worth the effort....artists do it all the time and call it poetic licence! It's a great piece of work.

A lady told me you once made the earth move for her so moving a mountain is nothing special to a master like you.
Only once Danny?

It's the end result that counts Dougie, and this is beautiful! Have an award - call it a yellow belt in the black arts! Wink

Doesn't look manufactured at all Dougie, I really like it.

As for your other work I made comment the other day to someone about you images..for me it's all natural & good and it's why i like to view your stuff. I know that I play about with sliders to a degree (I am not very good at it though) but I would put your work alongside any landscape photographer because of the very fact that what comes out of your camera is what you see when taking the picture.
Thats very kind my friend, I always try to make it look like I recall from the moment I pressed the shutter. The memory of course is'nt guaranteed to be accurate.
