Hello Dougie. Nicely captured shot. I like being able to see the stones in the water.

Hello Dougie, you have a perfectly level water line in this one and the exposure on the sky is to be admired...I would not have chosen an eroded embankment in the composition though, kinda spoils it but cracking clear water. Have a good weekend.

Great composition and a lovely sky.
The quality of the large picture is stunning. How do you get such a good quality upload?

Lovely, natural capture Dougie. Love the drama in the sky in contrast to the clear purity in the sunny water.

Yes, this is a high quality photo. I like the water .. and everything. I notice that the file size is 263,438 bytes. How did you do that?

You have to be there to take in the beauty of the Scottish landscape, and needless to say this fails to disappoint,if i was to criticise would be the fact that i was not there.

This has to be seen large to be fully appreciated, Dougie. Seen large, the foreground colours and textures are more fully realised ; they complement the hilly backdrop beautifully. Very, very good indeed. Smile

EDIT: forgot to mention the lead-in lines on the composition too!
