Last time I stopped to take a photograph there it was a midge-infested nightmare. You've captured it in much more serene and endearing conditions and, dare I say, made a much better job of it than I did.

Congrats on the GEA.

I recognised this place, and the lighting on fg grass and moutain is amazing, very well captured and congrats on your deserved GEC.

A fine shot Dougie, I really like how the reflection disappears into the reeds.

Love those reeds - but not good for fishermen (so I understand!). Congrats on the GEA - well deserved Dougie!

It's hard to believe the whole of the loch shown is shallow enough for reeds. Lovely capture, beautifully sharp and clear.

Fascinated to see how the reflection takes over when the reeds thin out and water becomes mountain. A superb image, Dougie, the GEA is more than deserved.

A marvellous image, Dougie. The fg reeds are very impresive and I had to study the reflection for some time as it looked almost superimposed. I saw it properly when I came back for a second look, and saw some distant detail I missed the ffirst time. Such clarity all the way to the far distant points.

A fortnight since I took time to place some comments here. Unbelievable. This year was sheer craziness, and still is.
Except that I am very, very busy I am allright, which I hope of you, too.

This is a very intriguing image, well done with the award!
Take care my friend,
